- 3) printing and binding of 2 copies of the Trimaris financial policy for an estimated cost of $130.
-- There was some confusion over the wording of the request and a discussion followed on the subject. It was suggested that Martine get the printing and binding fees from 3 different companies and talk to the shire about it again. The request was table until next week.

Biggest thing she is looking for at this moment is a Bard to provide LIVE back ground music for the Demo.
She will be hosting a small reception after the demo with food and refreshments provided and socializing at her home - no alcohol please. This reception is for the volunteers and for any new people we get from the demo that are interested in the SCA and maybe joining our shire.
At the next meeting she will be having a sign up sheet to confirm who will be attending the demo and what they are bringing and what they will be working on. She stresses that she wants the volunteers to have something to be making/working on etc. during the demo as well as something to show and talk about when asked questions.
She will also be providing directions and the address of the Library next week and on the mailing list. She has invited people from the Stronghold and An Crosaire to join us in this demo.

Lady Bryndis
* Was contacted by the Kingdom Seneschal about making ‘Trimaris Duke
University’ a kingdom event. It needs to be sponsored by local group and she
asked if Castlemere was interested in hosting this event, a vote was taken
and it passed. So Castlemere will be hosting this event a “free one day
kingdom event” on November 7, with Lady Bryndis as the autocrat. The shire
will only have to front the money for lunch. The waiver will be a roster
type already approved by the kingdom, it will not cost any money and we
don’t need NCR forms. Classes will be fighter related only. The event site
will be at the same free site they used last year in Plant City. If you are
interested in helping please contact her at: bryndisf@...
There were about 38 people at the meeting.
Next week: Class: "History of bardic tradition in the SCA" taught by the Bard of
Castlemere Lady Glenna of Streuhaus

Greetings Castlemere!
Do you have a consort who insists on dancing after feast?
Did your knight tell you you needed to learn how to dance (and to improve
your footwork as a side effect)?
Would you like to flirt with the beautiful Trimarian ladies but the most
beautiful ones are always talking to the dance master?
Would you like to add to your education as it becomes a noble of the
Trimarian Court?
Here is your chance!
We proudly present the kick-off of the Castlemere Dance Practice this
Saturday, March 7th, 2009.
Baronessa Cara and Lady Milica are generously offering to teach a
dancepractice for everybody, from Shire member to family and friends,
once a
month (maybe more if you are up to it)! Learn all those Trimarian Dances you
have always wanted to master! Spend time with your friends and fellow shire
members!
When: Saturday, March 7th 2009
Where: Mandarin Library Community Room, Kori Rd, Jax
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Garb would be nice but is not required. Wear comfortable shoes and bring
something to drink to refresh yourself.
See you all there!
Cheers

At the next meeting she will be having a sign up sheet to confirm who will
be attending the demo and what they are bringing and what they will be
working on. She stresses that she wants the volunteers to have something to
be making/working on etc. during the demo as well as something to show and
talk about when asked questions.
She will also be providing directions and the address of the Library next
